In Luke 11:23 Jesus warns, He that is not with me is against me: and he that gather not with me scatters. Jesus is teaching that his power is greater than the enemy’s, that through him, the enemy has been defeated and stripped. More importantly, Jesus victory recovered the goods that were stolen, our rightful inheritance as children of God. Through the finished work of Christ, we have been repositioned into the Kingdom of God. All the kingdom promises are ours to freely enjoy, and have already been paid for by Jesus’ precious blood. As delegated and chosen ones, we have the charge to maintain the victory and to recover all that has been lost or stolen.
We have the responsibility to infiltrate and dismantle Satan’s kingdom and gather up the spoils. The word of God tells us that the gates of hell will not prevail against us (Matt 16:18). Our responsibility is to pray and intercede for our loved ones, the lost, elected officials and those in authority, that the captives be set free, that their eyes of understanding be open to receive the light of the glorious gospel, that they be delivered from all forms of bondage to sin and evil works, and to bring them into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We also have the authority over the enemy’s attacks, through sickness, disease, poverty, depression, addictions, worry, fear, etc. We don’t have to tolerate anything that is contrary to God’s plan for us to manifest heaven on earth. We are to live life in the blessing and that more abundantly (John 10:10). Our lives are a reflection of who we are with. Through Jesus we have the victory.
Know that either we are for Christ or against him. There is no neutral ground. We must take a stand for what we believe. Paul gives us a serious warning from the Holy Spirit in 1 Timothy 4:1, Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. We have to make certain that we don’t depart from the faith in Christ. We must not give heed to false teachings that take the focus off the finished work of Christ. False teachings don’t recognize and declare that Jesus is Lord. A house divided cannot stand. Apostle Paul preached the Kingdom message, Jesus and his crucifixion for eternal life in Christ and victory here on earth. One cannot attempt political correctness and inclusion under the guise of serving “the same God”. The true and living God is One, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. And Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life (John 14:6).
We are to share this good news, the gospel, wherever we’re planted. Let your life be a witness for Christ. Let your light within shine forth as you radiate God’s love, his peace and joy. We bear fruit for the kingdom as we allow ourselves to mature and become perfected by the Holy Spirit. As we become more rooted and grounded in the Word, we’ll want to share the gift of God’s love to those who don’t know him, so that others can live the abundant, prosperous and blessed life that Jesus restored on our behalf. Let your life demonstrate who you’re with, that you’re with the one who has all power, dominion and authority, the King of kings and Lord of lords, our Savior, and blessed Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
Be blessed and walk in dominion!
